Beth Bergeson, Certified Social Worker
Helping Create a Path Towards Success and Happiness

I am a Certified Social Worker and therapist here at Safe Passage Counseling. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Family Services from BYU in 2019, and my Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2023. Throughout my education and time after, I have had a wonderful opportunity to work and connect with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
My goal is to help you gain the tools that you need in order to find success and happiness in your life. Life is tough, and so are you! My greatest focus in our sessions will be to identify where you are struggling and to support you through it. Through small, manageable steps, I will work to help you find success by providing guidance, education and support.
I have several years of experience working with individuals who struggle with addiction, substance use, and mental health concerns. Through this experience, I have seen the importance of the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I allocate facets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to examine these relationships and to help you find solutions to your concerns.
When not working I love spending time with my family and dear friends. Participating in music, photography, video games and reading are some of my favorite things to do! I also have been working on cultivating a new interest in gardening.
